(Minneapolis, Minn.) The Mirandola Ensemble today announced a premiere date for its new “Franco-Flemish Masters” concert series, taking place on November 1, 2014 at St. Catherine University in St. Paul. The concert will feature the current Minnesota Public Radio ‘Class Notes’ Artists-in-Residence singing the sacred works of Lasso, Clemens Non Papa, and Ockeghem.

The Mirandola Ensemble, established in 2011, is a Minneapolis-based professional choral ensemble dedicated to promoting the highest standards of choral music, the idea of choral music as ‘high art’ in the Western tradition, and the aesthetics of the Renaissance. The ensemble is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization, and was recently selected to serve as the 2014-2015 Artist-in-Residence for Minnesota Public Radio’s Class Notes program.
