(Minneapolis, Minn.) The Mirandola Ensemble today announced a premiere date for its new spring concert: “Come, Holy Spirit: Polyphony for the Feast of Pentecost”, taking place on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Minneapolis. The concert will feature the works of Byrd, Gesualdo, and Aichinger in the inaugural program by new Artistic Director Nick Chalmers.

The concert will feature ensemble members Angela Grundstad (soprano), Clara Osowski (alto), Nick Chalmers (tenor), Andrew Kane (baritone), and Matthew Culloton (bass).
The Mirandola Ensemble, established in 2011, is a Minneapolis-based professional choral ensemble dedicated to promoting the highest standards of choral music, the idea of choral music as ‘high art’ in the Western tradition, and the aesthetics of the Renaissance.
