(Minneapolis, Minn.) The Mirandola Ensemble today announced details of an upcoming album release concert and reception to celebrate the ensemble’s new “Unquiet Thoughts: The Lute Songs of John Dowland” recording, available beginning on October 14. The concert, along with a wine and cheese reception for attendees, will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at St. Paul’s Church on Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis. The concert will feature the ensemble’s expanded Dowland program with frequent collaborator Ben Kunkel joining on classical guitar.

The concert will feature ensemble members Angela Grundstad (soprano), Clara Osowski (alto), Nick Chalmers (tenor and Artistic Director), Ben Kunkel (classical guitarist), Andrew Kane (baritone), and Matthew Culloton (bass).
The Mirandola Ensemble, established in 2011, is a Minneapolis-based professional choral ensemble dedicated to promoting the highest standards of choral music, the idea of choral music as ‘high art’ in the Western tradition, and the aesthetics of the Renaissance. The ensemble is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization and was recently announced as a 2017-2018 Class Notes Artist for Minnesota Public Radio.
