The Mirandola Ensemble presents "My Spirit Sang All Day," as part of the 2018 Twin Cities Early Music Festival. This concert features music of the Polish Baroque including sacred works by Mikołaj Zieleński and Grzegorz Gorczycki, and Henryk Górecki's Three Lullabies; as well as a choral/orchestral anthems of Henry Purcell paired with excerpts of the "Triumphs of Orianna," a set of early 17th century Madrigals with politically charged texts honoring Queen Elizabeth of England. The program includes keyboardist Chris Ganza and violinists Mayra Mendoza and Michal Sobieski.

Jewel of the Baroque

The Mirandola Ensemble presents "Jewel of the Baroque," a concert of anthems of Henry Purcell, excerpts of Claudio Monteverdi's Fifth Book of Madrigals, and the Petit Motets of Jean-Baptiste Lully. Featuring continuo players and friends of the ensemble Ben Kunkel and Chris Ganza. An evening of lush baroque music for all to enjoy.
