The Mirandola Ensemble announces new February concert dates in Minneapolis and Waverly, Iowa


(Minneapolis, Minn.) The Mirandola Ensemble today announced its new "Amidst Winter's Darkness Comes Light" program, taking place this February in Minneapolis and Waverly, Iowa (as part of the Waverly Chamber Music Series). This concert features lute songs by John Dowland and John Ward; 20th century works by Hindemith and Gorecki; and Renaissance German works by Schuetz, Lechner, and Hassler.


Saturday, February 23, 7:30 p.m., Annunciation Church, Minneapolis | 509 W 54th St.

Tickets: $15 at the door (20% off when you pre-order online); students attend for free.

The Mirandola Ensemble, established in 2011, is a Minneapolis-based professional choral ensemble dedicated to promoting the highest standards of choral music, the idea of choral music as ‘high art’ in the Western tradition, and the aesthetics of the Renaissance. The ensemble is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization and was recently announced as a 2018 - 2019 Class Notes Artist for Minnesota Public Radio.
